RaGEZONE Fantasy Football League 2013-14 [ATTENTION MANAGERS]

It's back!

After a decent first year of running the RaGEZONE Fantasy Football League last year, it's back again this year! With less than 3 weeks remaining until the start of the new Barclays Premier League season, it's time to get your managerial cap on and pick a team of players who can beat other users and win prizes!

Prizes you say, Junkers? Prizes I do say*! This year I intend to give 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the league (providing we get enough people joining) a prize at the end of the season. So pick a team, discuss your choices with other players, give advice, or don't! Just come and join the fun!

For those who don't know how ESPN Soccernet's leagues work, here's an explanation

Spoiler:

You get points based on the performance of the players you have selected to play in the gameweek. Captains get double points. Points are awarded based on performance, clean sheets, goals scored, assists provided. Points can be deducted for red cards.

After 20 weeks, the first segment is over and the second segment begins. You begin to tally a new set of points in the second segment that add on to the points tally from the first, and by May 2014 the person with the most points from both segments wins.

1st place - 6 month subscription!
2nd place - 3 month subscription!
3rd place - TBA

*some prizes still to be negotiated/decided

If Sagna leaves i think Jenkinson can replace him. He didn't have a bad season when he did get to play. But I'm thinking of canceling his contract at Not Gareth Bale FC

The team that will win RaGEZONE's League 2013/14.

Carl Jenkinson, Hernandez and a few others have been fired from Not Gareth Bale FC.

Begovic - A cheap yet a good keeper, he'll bring me some points.
Kompany and Zabaleta- Both great defenders, Zabaleta had a good season last year.
Vertoghen- He had a great season at Tottenham and I hope he'll be as good or even better this season.
Cazorla and Mikel Arteta- Arteta was one of the most accurate and best passers last year. Cazorla had an amazing season. There were small links that he could go back to Liga BBVA, but he said that he loves Arsenal and is very happy(huurah).
Shürrle- It's kinda risky because I'm afraid he'll get benched at Chelsea. But I have replacements in mind.
Kagawa- He is a great player and I hope that he has a better season than last season.

Benteke- I feel he will score as much or more this season. Extended his stay at Aston Villa after being linked with Spurs(Tottenham suck!!)
Agüero- A good player.

Bale is linked with Real Madrid again xD I suggest as Junkers suggested me, buy a cheap good keeper and use the money to make other parts of the team better :)

I'm keeping Bale in my team until he definitely is transferred! And made a slight change to my team; Sturridge replaces Berbatov and Cabaye replaces Nolan!

Joe Hart - Good goalkeeper.
Rafael - Good defender.
Ferdinand - I had him last year and he scored me a lot
Williams - No idea, Just like him.
Terry - Rhymes with Cherry.
Michu - Good goalscorer and also got me a ton of points last season.
Gerrard - I will probably replace him
Fellaini - Should get a good load of points
Bale - Should get a good load of points
Van Persie - I intend on replacing him, he's always got a baddie.
Bony - scored 31 goals out of 30 games last season for his Dutch team.

Subs:
They will never play if I can help it, all shit.
