Question about PK2

Hi RZ,
is someone here who has good knowledge about pk2 ?
I thought about make new Sort of Item.
But when i add it in item_group.txt and reference in my itemdata_xxxx.txt to that group it always crashes.
Do someone know what i am doing wrong ?
I also add everything in textdata_object.txt
Do i need to create a item group on db site too ?
i didn't found anything there.
Please help.

as i know yes bcz media.pk2 is a copy of db (90%)
gup like other sox for example ?

But in my example it was not possible to add a new TypeGroup.
It always crashes.
I think the client can't handle the typeid.
Like you need new client when you wanna increase cap.
You know what i mean?

Maybe i explain my problem a bit more !

Now i wanna change the TypeID4 from 9 to (myOwn=17):

When i now start the client i get a crash.
But only if i wear my weapon. If i have it only in Inventory it shows me correctly
"Item Sort: Special".
When i put in on my char i get crash again.
So what did i miss ?

ahh, you want to change the "item sort" description, right?
you cant change typeids, you need to edit it this way
at item_grouping.txt
이벤트 아이템 ITEM_CH_BLADE_11_A SN_ITEM_TOOLTIP_GROUPING_079 0


first part, description
second part, codename16 of the item
third part, type of item (from textdata_object.txt)
last part is a empty tab ( i put 0 so you can see it)
