Not really interested in CoD this year. I'll probs just download the beta / full game and play the campaign on my jtag.
That was honestly a joke. I honestly was not impressed with what they put out. I've seen mostly all of it from different FPS's that are already. They just re-polished and gave it a Call of Duty feel.
Just watched it and here are some of my thoughts...
-HUD is kinda ugly(don't really like it but I'll have to get used to it)
-No deathstreaks! Thank fucking god
-They're supporting MLG stuff which is really good.
-Clan stuff is pretty cool
-Cranked looks very crazy
-Falling stuff on the map looks amazing
-Knife system is also very cool
-MP Trailer is very nice(great choice of song(s))
-Riley is fucking beast
-New phone app is cool
-I will be getting the dog tag to support the troops(Just $4.99)!
-I won't be getting the hardened/prestige stuff since I don't want to spend even more money
-I'm happy about creating a squad
-The point system(or w/e it's called) is kinda cool
-Gameplay from the pros was cool(don't remember who won)
-Kinda happy/sad about the killstreaks
Overall, the game will be like MW2/MW3 since the kills in Cranked were at 100 points/kill. I'm still confused on the bomb thing.
What really made me excited about the MP Reveal trailer was Eminem's song from his new album. And only that.
Really wasn't impressed.
It actually wasn't all that good.
I don't know why everyone is saying wait for Ghosts, thats because im getting bo2 in 2 days and they keep saying wait for Ghosts, from what i've seen tonight, erm nty, i'll stick with bo2 and mw3

Honest Opinion,
I thought a lot of the new stuff was long overdue and should have been already implemented in black ops 2 or Mw3 considering battlefield 3 has a lot of it already.
Customizing,
This is stupidly overdue to the point its a bitter release. What I mean by that it seems that due to the huge backlash of Mw3 and Bops2, this was giving a bone to people to try and amend not listening. Honestly I am happy and it looked really good but I have a huge feeling your going to be paying for extras.
Squads,
I love the fact you can now play with out having to be in huge matches and you can pretty much set up your team mates to how you want them. So you want 2 snipes every one else going LMG boom you can have that. I think this is one of the first half decent ideas added to call of duty series in a long time.
Prestige,
I love and I mean love the fact you no longer max level and lose every thing. The idea that my top level character is there still but I can prestige is great. Allows me to play with my clan and not have to worry about my set up like you had in older cods. A great idea and one I hope is placed on future cods. Even more we where told prestiging would unlock customization goods also. Finally you get something decent for prestiging [Black ops 2 prestige is terrible]
Breakable Environment,
Honestly not a big wow. Its something again that is overdue and some have been added 2 cods ago. I did like the idea that there is a speacil box that pretty much alters the whole map. That idea was goods.
Kill Streaks,
Honestly I dont like kill streaks and I think its one of the largest issues relating to a terrible spawn system. I did like the fact that uav and such are now ground based making it easier to deal with. Lets hope however unlike it bops2 a single EMP cant completely destroy your sentry and goods.[Serious you work hard for a sentry to get one emp and its screwed].
Spawns,
Same old same old. I saw no improvement and noticed people would still spawn right behind you after you killed them. Its about time they get a decent system or at least spawn protection so you have a chance.
New Game Mods,
I like that but I really hope they add new ones with each update. I also hope that the 2v2 and 3v3 game mode we saw in MW3 is back. I loved it and I thought these small fights where the best.
Clans,
Finally a proper clan based ranking system. Its about time and the fact you earn special goods for being top is great. I just hope you dont get weapons only camo and emblems how ever. Dont really want people with OP guns because they clan fuck alot.
Sound,
Honestly I could care less. Unless you plan to wear a pair of turtle beaches or similar headphones it wont make much of a difference to most players.
Lean System,
Until I play with it I cant decide. How can it know exactly when I want to lean? What if I just want to stand by the wall and then rush. How is it going to tell the different. Sounds great but I see SERIOUS issues in multiplayer gameplay.
Overall,
A lot of nice new stuff but I think its honestly way to late. Call of Duty is and always will be a casual FPS. It can never be a hardcore shooter as its very basis is against it. Also I pray quick scooping is gone but I doubt it will be. Even if fan boys cry its an ability that needs removing as its not skill and it does not make you a good player it just makes you lazy. In the end I think its the COD we deserved instead of Mw3 and blackops 2.
Also I think its about time if we are going to pay £40 for season passes the game needs to be cheaper. £20 game with additional map makes or a season pass. More people would play and more people would buy to try.
I think I watched a video from a Pro COD Caster saying that Quickscoping has been dwindle and it's not as easy as the other CODs. Basically reverting to somewhat of a Black Ops quick scoping. Which had no aim assist and such. Much more challenging for those who enjoy it.
I was thinking about the game for a while now. I think I'll keep it and play it whenever I get bored and just play BO2 until next year.Quote:
