i was thinking.. a lot of ppl use the word owned or pwned ingame... mostly in online gaming.. like Counter Strike and WoW... but what is exactly the word Owned in your oppinion?

a game in wich u kill like 20 or even much more and u get 0 deaths or 1
Owned a.k.a. Pwned - Outskilling your opponent extremely. When that n00b started talking trash, i got out my +10 sword of rape and pwned him in the...Now he knows who the boss is.
or when you play cs and knife some1 while they are shooting you with an ak
or when a 8yr old kills you and thinks hes "1337" and changes him name to

When you kill a player very quickly and they are statign how good they are and you kill them and prove them wrong.
good ones... i think thats all about counter strike...

Unreal Tournament :) when u kill a cretain amount of ppl it says a word like Unstoppable, or Godlike. pretty cool
all about when you rule at CS everything else is a rip from that
In Frozen Throne, Map DOTA, if you kill X amount of heroes and all the other team mates left, you PWNed them good ;)

Owned - overpowering your opponent and showing him you own him :)
Pawned - destroyed by you
pwned to me is if you keep running into this one person and you keep killing him/her and she/he cant kill you then your gettin pwned..
and if it still goes on that way then your getting owned.
When I say owned, it usually means that I have done nothing special, just enjoying the use of my vocabulary.

anyway, i personally think that owned is when u got a big thing that u wanted.. like: u want to reach lvl 60 in WoW, and u killed all the mobs, ,that means u owned them.... but when you got killed a lot by those mobs, u got pwned... or owned my the mobs XDD

I haven't played DOTA in like a few days now, with school and all, been playing more cs :P, but I'm not like a hardcore fan for DOTA, just play for fun. All I do is join pub games in USeast.
When iam Playing WoW and get Ganked by a lvl ?? Rogue.>_>
