Hey guys,
a friend of mine and I own one of the largest habbo retros in germany.
But we've got an annoying bug but we cant figure out how to fix it.
We're using Phoenix, and our problem is, that Phoenix uses 100% of the CPU sometimes.
At first, it's idleing at under 10%, but randomly, it jumps to 100% and we have to restart the emulator.
I hope somebody can help.
What GB RAM Is the server?
We have 12 GB RAM on the emulator server
Please provide me this information:
- CPU/Intel driver
- How many online
- Indexed database

CPU: Intel Xeon e5 2620
Online: 300-500
Indexed Database: Yes
Sounds like you should configure your my.ini.
Here is the my.ini Aaron(creator of Phoenix) used on his hotel(Habboon). They had 300-500 users online so I think this would be perfect for you. http://pastebin.com/JVL1nXZt
Might need some changes, depends on which MySQL version you are running.
simply don't use phoenix, it's old. Also if someone gets ahold of that bot program released, your hotel is at risk.

So what it's old? It's still one of the best emu's going round. It's easy to prevent against that bot program and as far as I know, I haven't seen a release so your statement about it being released is wrong or I just haven't found it yet.
Phoenix is and will always be usable. I'd use it before I'd use any other emulator currently going round.

Nothing helps. The CPU will reach 100% few times a day.
So I want to ask you a question.
Can anyone suggest me an emulator, which doesnt have issues and which can handle more than 500 users?
If possible, with source code and a download link.

Firewind can easily handle 2k users, I have had it running for 20 days with 300-600 online. But it is missing some features and there is no updates.Quote:
