I've never been to a party on states yet and never I have entered a party in our country that has a similar madness. But after my tri semester, I'm going back again on states, and I have a friend of mine prepared who has been through these types of party a lot and wants me to experience it.
So any idea what exactly happens on this types of party? Does it cost a lot?
Oh yeah and I'm talking about Vegas here.
If you are talking about a outdoor party it doesn't cost much to enter but drinks and food is hella expensive compared to what you normally pay but the party's are amazing . At the party you dance and drink and most people take ecstacy but I wouldn't recommend it , also the girls are wild so partying with them is amazing

Well there are actually a lot of variables when it comes to the disturbance of peace, but yes there are laws against underage drinking. You can legally drink alcohol at the age of 18, but you can not buy it until you are 21. So basically, if you are over 18 and you aren't buying it, drink up. (Don't drive of-course, though) You can even go into a bar at 18 and drink as long as you have a parent with you.Quote:

If you are in a residential neighborhood, there is a time limit I believe that starts at 10 PM where noise can not exceed a certain decibel level. Other than noise you just have to use your better judgement on what is or isn't disturbing the peace.

Edit: Okay apparently I was wrong, the legal drinking age of alcohol is 21 with little leniency. I think it's one of those at the cops discretion things. If he feels you are a danger to yourself or others and you are under 21, then he will most likely do something about it. But if he feels you are under control and can handle your drinking, he most likely won't do anything about it and will just give you a fair warning.

You can be cited for drinking under the age of 21 in the US. Will you always be cited? No. You usually only get fined when you give the cops a hard time.
If you're in a residential neighborhood, they'll come mainly because neighbours will call in with noise complaints. They'll come to your door and give you a verbal warning. Under no circumstance are they allowed to enter your house, so no one inside will be checked. Under some cases they can legally demand the party to cease, at which point anyone not living there will have to leave. If that happens, leave your drink and walk out quietly. They wont give you trouble unless you give them a reason to.
If you're on campus its way more strict regarding parties. You wont get cited, but if cops have to come to your door then the party will have to end immediately. You'll need to check with your campus and look up city ordinances to become aware of the laws for your area. Some cities may allow it and others wont.
As long as your not hosting it and if your underage drinking, if you see the cops just RUN. It happened to us before and when we seen the cops coming we all took off. The kid hosting it was underage but the homeowner (their parents) just got a warning and if it happened again they would be cited for giving alcohol to underage and causing a disturbance or something along them lines.

How about in Vegas? Anybody with experiences on Vegas about drinking and joining parties involving underage teens? I'm okay getting caught and put to prison for probably an hour as long as they won't contact my parents. lol
And that would be so fucked up if they would be bringing those K9 dogs to chase. I'd rather get caught than have my ass bitten, but honestly. Running from those police while they bring those K9 and choppers. would be so fucking epic.
And somehow, I'm probably gonna move to California or Vegas. Depending on my mom's decision, and she knows I drink but occasionally.
