i have currently old files running on a dedi. i want to run new files alongside the old ones. ive changed the ports on the server config, and changed the service names and dns names to be different. as well as having a sep. database. ive added the ports to the firewall, and checked the dns. but the client cant connect to the server. if you could help me :)
don't think you can run both old and new together.
why not? i think im just having an issue getting my client to connect to the rest database but im not sure.
i have no errors anywhere on the server, but i do have xampp running, which uses port 80.
One of the services must be run on port 80 I beleive it's world manager or game log, set up your wamp to be on another port such as 8080
