So basically yesterday I was playing League of Legends with a friend that is currently living in Liverpool and he surprised me positively when he told me his boss was looking for a full-time employee. I was like, damn! I would love to get that job. After my parents came home I decided to talk with them and I explained the situation. My Dad said me years ago "If you find an opportunity to work outside Portugal don't be stupid and take the chance." So yesterday I got the chance to tell him that phrase I quoted above by him and he was really happy with me. I'm going to Liverpool tomorrow, already have my flight checked in. I will be living with my friend and his family for the time needed to get my own apartment etc.. to "fix" my life in there. I would like to have some tips. What should I need to take care of, what would be good to visit in Liverpool and stuff like that.
I'm really excited because I always wanted to live my life not under my parents's roof and this is it. I will be hosted in my friend's house and after I get everything I need I'll start my life for real.
I think this "trip" will be good to improve myself as a person, gain responsibilities, improve my English skills, and to learn how to live by my own, my life starts now!
