I fail to operate the CPW
I tried everything.
I'm working with the 1.4.7 version of Mr Killer v80.
I keep stepping CPW - Home document but nothing works, I get the error "server not available" when you upgrade.
when executing the commands everything works fine.
anyone know if this works for this version? :?:

symbolic link? where or for what? :blink:
I execute the follow steps:
execute sql in my database
./cpw install
create pid witth 101 in CPW folder -> info folder
copy Launcher.exe and patcher.exe in the folder CPW
./cpw x patcher.exe Launcher.exe
copy launcher and patcher in client
./cpw initial
modify pid client with 101
modify updateserver client in patcher folder -> server folder
copy CPW folder from file to var/www
I give 777 permissions to CPW in www
I execute launcher in launcher folder, this open launcher and this "·$%& dont working, show error: "server not available" :sleep:

Now you need to grand user an access. This is regulary done by nginx or Apache.
Ex, Apache only needs a symbolic link to files/CPW/ in your site root.

PHP Code:
if (u can read) {
echo "follow tutorial";
} else {
echo "learn first linux basics";

I thought that if I was to put it in the www folder did not need the symbolic link
Re: I fail to operate the CPW
lol ... fail ... read tutorial carefully !!! you know nothing about linux ... a aymbolic link is a link to your target folder ... if you have a request on your patch [ cpw / etc ] folder ... this followed the symbolic link from apache folder to your taget folder ... without manual copy cpw to you htdocs ...
plz plz learn first linux basics ...

You want to say me that the PCW folder only works in the file folder and does not work if I make a copy of it on www?
otherwise I see no reason for a symlink brake the process.
Re: I fail to operate the CPW
my last words on this: read carefully and learn linux basics ...
Re: I fail to operate the CPW
remove the bandage of "You do not know linux" and tell me why a symbolic link affects the error if I already have the CPW in the www folder.
or I don't know if google translator does not work fine.
Re: I fail to operate the CPW
you shouldn't have CPW in the www folder.. mine's in /opt/cpw/ and the only thing that you can see it the encrypted files if you try to get to the folder

when I speak of CPW, is the folder with the encrypted data .
the same happens when trying to access my CPW in the www folder.
the question is not which place is better to put the CPW, the question is why does not work.
I have tried everything, I dont know where search more or what move more. :(:
