League of Legends 3v3 ranked team

Right, so as you all know the season is ending soon and while I got silver no problem, I want to get gold for the Elise skin. Twisted Treeline is a good way to do this with the right team.

So I'm looking for some people who are good at this and are at least silver.
Right now my problem is that I don't have many of such friends, or they are silver/gold, but they main adc, which is basically a no go on that map.

So if you are silver or higher, want to have fun, got Skype and actually got quite a bit of experience on this map, then reply here.

Gold 4 Jungler. So most of my mains fit in TT, such as Zac, Nautilus, Jarvan, Malphite, Vi.. I can just play any tank.

Yeah tanks and bruisers work great. In general I like a tanky dude, AD melee and an AP. Personally I can play champs like Shen, Jarvan etc, but I also get great results with Ahri, who is imo extremely OP on that map, I mean in the jungle it's almost impossible to not land your Q and E, and since it's 3 enemies instead of 5, your charm is that much stronger in comparison.

Nah, but most of the time I'm studying, and when I'm not I just go to bed. But yeah, I can probably play few games tomorrow night, and another few on Sunday.

Ziggs doesn't do that well, most of the popular melee's would kill you right away, it's why Ahri works so well, melee's use their skill to go in, you dash away, dash back in little later and you can dash out again if they come close, and while they try and kill ahri, your own melee's will kill them.

While stats don't tell you everything, I mean obviously player skill etc is all really important, it does show you whether a champion does good or bad overall and more importantly, who you can expect against you. Aatrox, Jax, Tryn, Lee etc are all among those most popular champs, who will just jump in on you.

You can also do an adc support + tank if you have a good teamwork

Here are the win rates for ranked 3v3, you can select the tier and stuff too, adc doesn't work well because games don't get to real late-game, Shen doesn't work good as well because his ult doesn't do much on a tiny map like that. But people do run supports especially Leona/Janna but alongside a bruiser like j4, the top 3v3 team in EUW loves running Leona.

if both teams are good the game will go late game, so yeah adcs are viable and also shen is not all about his ult, he is tanky as fuck. didn-t expected to hear such thing about shen being "useless" lol

Got to agree with Scratch, both ADCs and Shen are viable in 3v3, and you also have a massive poke.

ADC's are most definitely NOT viable and I for one will not run with a ADC comp.

Late game aside, the simple fact is that the champions chosen, are usually those with gap closers.

If you look at 5v5 games, what makes an ADC survive? Well first of all usually only 2 will dive you, the enemy ADC stays in the back, most supports stay in the back, and then depending on the top, jungle and mid, usually 1 or 2 will dive the adc while the other keeps their own ADC safe. Since both teams should do that, the adc usually stays alive.

But look at the 3v3 meta, you get Jax, Tryn, Lee, Aatrox etc, they will dive in, sure you got your own team that can somewhat protect you, but if they fail, you will be gone instantly, and even if they don't fail, you are not in the position to just keep doing your thing.

So what makes AP carries so different? Well a lot of them have hard CC's and you get the Wooglet, which has the Zhonya's ability, so they dive you, you get away, if they still got more chase you can CC them and if they still keep going you can use Wooglet, at which point they invested so much in killing you, that their own team falls. Now think if the enemy has an ADC while their melee's are trying to kill Ahri? Yeah that will destroy them. If they leave Ahri alone, well she will do way more then any ADC will in those fights.

So yeah, ADC's are just bad, they need too much protection to work.

I watched 3v3 streams from Challenger EUW and these are things they said so themselves, if both teams are good the game will end quick because a good team won't let another one stall or turtle. And shens late game tankyness is diminished greatly by the short duration of the games. I would pick Singed or Renekton or Zac because they have a much, much better early game potential than Shen.

I must say that I'm not that happy with Singed either, early game he can be ganked quite easily with very little to no protection. I've had succes late game, but early is hard.

Renekton should be a great pick though.

graves has the highest win ratio in 3on3 challenger tier, nothing else to say lol

also Renekton is obviously a beast in 3on3

And by highest you mean 39,02%? He has the 14th lowest win ration of all champions. So not sure where you get those stats from.

My bad, but the amount of games played with him is way too low to take it into consideration. For example viktor has 33 games and we can see his bar still, Gravess and Urgots bars aren't even visible.

I am diamond playing in a 3v3 Diamond team, if u run non-mobility adc's on 3v3 or shit like shen wich scales mostly into lategame - splitpushing u are clearly a silverboi.

Only viable adc's on TT are Ezreal and Corki(atm).

Either jungle or run a support with a bruiser on a lane is the best way.

€: TT games never go into lategame, the team that gets the first 2-3kills snowballs the whole game and will finish it easily.

While Ezreal and Corki are played in the ADC role, they aren't really quite ADC, even with full AD builds, they get a massive amount of magic damage from their spells, it's why it can work.

As for those Graves statistics, he probably has 1-3 wins, which means absolutely nothing.

Ok so I played 8 ranked 3 v 3 games today with some friends ( both low tier silver ) and we won 6, here are some observations :

• You MUST have at least one ranged champ in the comp, Kennen seems to do fine at rolling over silvers.
• Corki OP riot pls.
• Jax OP riot pls.
• If enemy team has 2 melee bruisers Cass is perfect, otherwise Ori/Gragas seem like the mages to go for me.
• You can't play champions with stealth actions, Grez too OP.
• A good and decently farmed jungler can solo Vile with 3 items ( Tried lee,udyr so far ).
• Towers die quite fast so splitting while your team holds their 3 for a tiny bit is actually very good.

Only games we lost were the ones where we messed around, both times with 3 melee champs (once Akali which is hard countered by Grez lel)

Only played at silver level but my friends and I had a shit ton of success with Garen solotop and Annie(me) + Xin bot. This was back in twisted treeline however :P

I honestly have to say that through silver you can play whatever and it'll work if you're quite skilled yourself, I'm Plat and we won some games just based off the enemies mistakes and not through team-comps, so you shouldn't put too much emphasis on them and focus more on your game play.

Personally I've had great success with both Ahri and Jarvan, Ahri can escape anything, so rampaging Tryn's Jax's etc all end up with nothing and a charm in their face with some other stuff, while Jarvan is a great champion to dive the enemy while being able to keep your squishy safe (since if you time your ult right, they wont be able to just get out of it)

Eve and Diana are very good in 3v3.
Also Tryndamere needs a nerf.

From someone who's played a few challenger ranked 3v3 games, Zac, Orianna, Tryndamere do really well together.

Or Aatrox, we got crushed by a Diamond 4 Aatrox in our first ranked 3v3 :/
