Hey guys,
I'm looking to learn C#. Now.. just wanna say this, I already know the super basics.
I'm not looking for a hello world tutorial, I'm a beginner but I mean..I would like something along the lines of perhaps a very good free book or a very good video tutorial series.. Something that would actually help me get a really good start.
At the same time, I'm looking for a tutorial for reverse engineering this will be used to work with private server files etc.
MSDN [Sample Code - MSDN Examples in C#, VB.NET, C++, JavaScript, F#] provides plenty of tutorials and sample code to get you started. You can also search for a similar project to what you'd like to do on CodeProject [CodeProject - For those who code] where there are a lot of great C# tutorials.
Reverse engineering requires solid knowledge of x86 ASM, you can find some guides here: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/X86_Assembly or here: http://www.cs.virginia.edu/~evans/cs216/guides/x86.html

This guy makes some things a little bit easier to understand but some of the videos are unintentional duplicates.
Some e-books to look for include: CLR via C#, The C# Programming Language, Programming C# 5.0, What Every Programmer Should Know About Memory.
Just build things, alot of things. Then read about patterns, OOP, SOLID-Principles etc, and try to apply them in your projects.
Reading alot of stuff alone won't push you forward... practise practise practise!:thumbup:
