Can anyone help me set up a private server please, i have been looking around on here for a while and found plenty of help but i always run into trouble...

Why are you running a server on ubuntu.......................................XD

~ is /usr/home/

so effectively you went to /usr/home/root/home/

the command you want is " cd ~/pwserver/"

naa, step one is ditch the GUI, get SERVER os :wink:

a crutch like GUI is fine when its not such a astronomical trade off.
