For those who don't understand how it is done and are to lazy to find it on the google linking to the original post of Bola where he shows what you need to actually edit to change the values!
He means to change the 'rate' for all quests, not one quest in particular. Going through and editing every quest one by one would be WAY too tedious!
I tried this, but it's obviously meant for 136, as in 146 there isn't anything even close to that what it shows there.
So I am wondering if there is a way to edit it on v146, and has even anyone tried to find it?
Or has noone ever tried to edit it, and simply placed super high exp rate on mobs trough the ptemplate.conf file?

Re: [HELP] Editing GS to increase quest rewards
well theres a way to do it on task editor edit every quest exp you get that way... as I believe that's the only way that I know of.. but the best way I would do it is make your own quest with a bit higher exp besides the ones from orginal so it gives a little more taste and add the quest to a newer npc just for your server.. that's my opinion

Re: [HELP] Editing GS to increase quest rewards
I haven't really used the task editor a whole lot, is there a feature like that? I know there's a "logic-replace" feature for sELedit. I'm just not sure of if or where such a feature would be in sTASKedit for him to accomplish this goal...

Re: [HELP] Editing GS to increase quest rewards
I had a gs from 144 ages ago that was hex edited to read tasks multiplier.
No idea where those files are now, however this is the only way i know of.
See this post here, it can be done, although i have not done it personally.
If one had a hexed file and the original, they could be compared to see where the change was and that change could be noted and applied to a 146 gs...perhaps.
Would be a great option to have, opposed to manually changing the exp on each and every quest.

Re: [HELP] Editing GS to increase quest rewards
True, a server side edit (gs or config) would be the best route for sure, as editing tasks would also entail an absolutely necessary client update...=\

Re: [HELP] Editing GS to increase quest rewards
Perhaps anyone has any different ideas how to increase the exp for quests ? Without actually editing each quest?

Re: [HELP] Editing GS to increase quest rewards
No problem take your time, I am simply giving out ideas to what we could add. I must really apologize that I cannot contribute to this issue myself, as I am not even worthy to call myself a dev, I know only the basics of everything and I am still learning.

Yes, I understand that you don't have time for it. But I really hope that someone who has the knowledge and time will read this topic and help us all out, as I am pretty sure that this is something not only I want to find. I am sure there are other who would be really grateful for this.
