Type ifconfig
so it'll be [Name]@[ServerIP]:ifconfig
Cut on your image(Let it load)
once loaded type in the image password...
Type command: ifconfig, Look at the image below to see the spot the IP you'll use will be in.

If you're connecting with winscp
click the "New" button on winscp, type the IP that you gained by doing "ifconfig", And for user and pass type your images username and password, the username is normally "root".
/SIDENOTE, Thread has been moved to the help section.
Did you start tomcat(or what ever you use?)
http://192.168.0.51:8080/pwAdmin <--That's what you'll type in.
Please tell me you're just trolling with this thread >.<
In case you're actually not:
Have you made sure that NO 2 machines on your network are using the same IP (primarily your HOST os and GUEST os) ??? ??? ???

I have a 1.3.6 server on VBox that use the IP 192.168.0.10 and my 1.4.6 v80 are on WMWare.
Here a SS maybe you can Help me if you see more.

EDIT: I dont set the VMWare up.
Yes you do set the VMware IP, but not in VMware VMware is just VM software, you set the IP in the GUEST OS...
Also, you do not want host only, you do want bridged / replicate (apply those settings in that SS)... ... ...
hmm okay and what should i do now? sorry but im new to the damn VMware.
You don't need to worry about vmware, you need to set everything up inside the VM/guest OS like you would as if it /was/ it's own physical machine.
Okay and how id o that? i cant connect to WinSCP
>.< It's a VM why would you need to use WinSCP, log into the guest VM directly...
Again, WHY WOULD YOU NEED TO use WinSCP ??? please explain that to me. You have ZERO reason to NEED to use it... ... ...
OMG, I guess you can't help the helpless >.<

Then explain how I have not only done what I've done here, but ALSO that I have TWO 42U server racks FILLED with servers and I have MANY server related HOBBIES and yet I've NEVER even installed WinSCP let alone USED it (on ANY computer or server or device of mine) >.<
Not to mention we're not even talking about physical machines here, we're talking about something MUCH MORE LOCAL, a Virtual Machine
I guess none of my machines have any files on them because I don't use WinSCP <.< right !?
I give up
yeah whoami1995 same here.....so maybe 343 you know why i create that Thread...cuz i cant connect to anything (pwAdmin, iweb)
try this
then after installed connect via ssh client ie :winscp/puttyCode:apt-get install openssh-server
All i do to connect to winscp:
-Start the services (lampp i think it was have to check when im at pc)
-start the server
Then it all works fine for me
which server do you use?
Lemme guess, you used WinSCP to install the OS too http://www.trotonline.co.uk/forum/im...nd_a_couch.gif
