Posted Tutorial on like the last post lol!
Reposting serverfiles to mediafire.
I marked all the ip you need to edit and maybe the ports lol...

Bout to upload a 4.12 or 3.50 client cuz can't find 4.04 lol.
The problem is im reading the readme.txt in the zip file asking for a new forum for this game , plus the file dint come with client and format is only in .FILE format . . less information about the game . .

Some of the files doesn't even have extension so I cant determine how to open them.
Is this linux based server?
Ah thank you for saying these files are quite nice. And using these files is going to be hard, as I was just cleaning out my hard drive and found this! I used this in 2007 when the official server was actually the same versions as these files! So, yeah I can't really explain how to use these files. However these files are used for Solaris 10 or 9 ONLY. And even though Solaris has GNOME too, it does not mean that it can run it, however you maybe able to use these files with Linux. But I cannot tell you that it works for certain on Linux. Rest assure, I suggest getting a 'Virtual Machine' as it can emulate Solaris 9 or 10. To get the ISO of it, you have 2 options of either torrenting or registering and downloading from the official Sun website.Quote:

Might you clarify on exactly how this was fixed? What exactly was broken? And how did you know this for sure? Additionally, given that this is not something you got yourself, I'm not sure you have any claim on it remaining only here on RageZone.
For the record, I have actually been working on this, and so far, the "broken" server software is up and running after finding and installing some necessary dependencies that OpenSolaris lacked. At this time, however, I came to realize that I have no client. There also is, as far as I know, no client out there that matches this version, so connecting could be hit or miss. Just waiting on my download so I can find out.
Finally, I find your "proof" of running server to be questionable at best. That logfile was present in the originally-posted files that I have.
I include in this post my gameserver (left) and dbserver (right) both running. Whether or not they run correctly has yet to be determined, but they run without any at-run-time program-breaking errors. My user/computer information has been blacked out.
[Edit] Looking over your files, they all carry a modified date in 2007. Your readme provides no usage information. How is this not just a grab, repost, and hope for attention while hoping the original poster never notices?

Also, have you ever seen the "original" files? Go do a comparison with them. I'm not sure what'll come out though.
I have the original files. From the look of things, a readme was added, and some folders were renamed. And yes, it's an older post. I could have revived the one I originally got the files from, if you prefer... >.>
