Which Texture game type do you prefer to play?

This poll will be used for decisions made about sertain projects...

Anyway, like stated in the poll above, which do you prefer?

1) Realistic Textures like wow, CS...
2) Cartoon Textures like maplestory, rose...

If you plan on polling, can you specify why and justify your choice?

it depends really, the cartoon texture of Rose suited it well. But, the realistic-ness and the graphics of games like WoW and Guild wars are amazing! Tbh, i voted for realistic. If there was a third choice of cant decide i would vote for that. I do like them both alot! I like cartoon graphics coz they're just so much fun and great to mess around with. But the seriousness of the others are really cool! I don't really like CS, guns arent really my sort of thing (unless its in WoW).

It's a really hard choice. But i stick by my decision of Realistic Textures.

all depends what type of game it is

well i like realist textures like Lineage and Css but sometimes the Game play of some cartoony game or really good Like FlyFF.

Realistic ones of course. Why else would I spend all of this money on graphics cars. =/

I chose realistic, but it really depends ont he game type. For 3d games like MU or diablo, realistic is good, if they are 2d and isometric, cartoony is great, suchas Endless Online. For first perosn games, more realistic is always better; but I'd like to see more online games with cell-shading suchas Zelda: Windwaker or Auto Modelista; it would be kind of cool to see a game similar to RYL with such graphics.

Realistic all the way! I regret purchasing my Nintendo GameCube because it's full of crappy cartoony games :(

Only ones I have now for it are newer the Resident Evil games (Remake, Zero and RE4).

i like both but i would have to say i def lean more towards realistic even tho cartoony r pretty nice in some games

WoW is actually a mix of cartoony char design and realistic.

Lin2 would be more like a realistic.

IMO realistic is like L2, but WoW is okay I guess :P


the kind of game I'm looking for is a game full of things for you to do so you can never get bored.

few but lasting events that make the game ever more fun to play

graphics are simple, yet outstanding to look at

the community is NOT full of mu noobs, I HATE retards like them

I like the realistic textures the most.
