1. Zoo don't have got real dss.
2. Bango got only 6 grades.
3. and you won't get any tutorial.
Its actually pretty easy.
Old files:
You have one main item.
Now you copy this item 8 times. On every item you have to edit the stats(DSS stats) + you have to add on every item an itemdesc (info for displaying dss shit).
Let's say you have An armor part.
Clean Armor part = 1
BoF armor part = 2
now
8x copy of the clean armor part
and now 8x a copy of the bof part
do the same shit as explained above.
that was the inititem part.
now take a realtime addon(i think only dragons support such a thing. and add the shit to the list)
Done after 20 hours (if you dont make a script, which is actually easy if you have common sense :D)
"New" files:
Extend the item system by yourself(Mainsvr hooks and shit)
now one of the arguments(Item packed structure) is the grade, then comes additional health(BYTE so max. 255) mana(BYTE)..str..hth...otp...eva. all is byte.
DSS system uses a own packet, emulate it and do shit with it.
save shit to config or db.
done.
A working brain is a must have for any of this.
On the old client you can also add up to 100k dss grades.

There are only two problems with engine:
-description length
-position of DSS desc (I figured out only how to add it before prefix:)

gotscha. no jk. anyways, yeah I was tired or in a bad mood...can't remember it anymore. In the end it's really not that hard. Even a newbie could write a script to do it on the old client. Of course he'd need a few hours but hey, he'd improve his scripting skills and still save much time.
I made a few things with the Main Server and once you're in, the other things come with time, such as DSS. DSS is actually in the new client easy to emulate(atleast the informations for the client :P) next thing is hooking the equip function and checking for values, adding, subtracting them. Done with part A. Part B is the packet, success rate, saving new values etc.(Actually easier BECAUSE you can work on your own and you don't have to rely on MainSvr functions, which are sometimes bugged(by IDA hexrays))
My C skills are by far not bosslike and you can hold your sacasm for yourself. Nobody has got such skills in the kal section.
Okey Doubling , i made it 7x Grades without any problem b y the way ,there is two ways to do that .. .i will give u the easiest one , use Dragon addon , and just make Dragon Scroll spirit as item which c an be added on armors
and edit Dragon.cfg , and it will be easy , really so , pm me if u got problem
