Re: Make monster new index.
you have to add the monster clientside aswell. search for how to create/edit a monster.
Re: Make monster new index.
Hello.
I change client side Marco.dat and messange.dat.
But if I change the Index I also need change the monster gx/gtx maps to the index.
But i dont know how i cant fint the right one.
If i now change M050.gtx to M1100.gtx the mobs are hidden.
The right mobs are in game when i change Index but I cant see the monster ingame I do somting wrong with change the name of the gt/gtx file so if any know how i can fix it will be nice
Re: Make monster new index.
You need to hex edit the .gb file and change the name in the .gb file (should be at or near the VERY bottom of your .gb file in the hex editor) Usually if a mob cannot be seen its due to a .gb issue

Re: Make monster new index.
god... can u tell me please the reason why u want to change any index on the initmonster? u got it on index 835 it does work and done.
*facepalm* meh
Re: Make monster new index.
Make a copy of the .gb file you want to change, then open the copy in Delphi_Swordcrypt (select all files when opening for it to show) then open it with "KEY 04" then change the name in there to what you want it to say (dnt worry if when you save it it kicks an error... it still will have saved ;) ....... Then open BOTH the origional .gb file and the copy in a Hex editor ... copy the line of code on the copy to the top line of the origional.. make sure you dont add or take out any bytes, just paste it over the dots if its longer then the origional.... save it .. n there you go ;)
Name is changed :)
Also if you want a different texture.. remember near the botton of the origional file to change the name of the .dds file to what you want it to be ;)
