Darko's weekly rant Week 1(test):" Most" homosexuals and minorities(not bashing them)

Well anyways, i though i'd liven up the place with a "healthy" discussion of sorts. Kinda like an unofficial debate or something. I'll start off by posting something and giving my opinions on it, then other people post "INGTELLIGENT" replies.

RULES:Remember, this is only an opinion backed up with personal experiences so please dont get offended. Also, if you're going to post something that opposes the opinion or supports it, please feel free to use personal experiences as no one (i hope) will be a complete jackass and just post "No, this t3h sux0r5" or whatever. Also, NO BASHING OPINIONS!!!! you can be "for" or "against" opinions it doesnt matter.

I hope this works and that it lets people voice their opinions on matters. Also it helps vent personal experiences. Remember, please be intelligent when you respond to something and here goes nothing........

Note for mods: If an all out flame war breaks out or someone shows what begins to be a flame, lock the topic. Im just doing this as a test to see if this works.....

Opinion: I dislike MOST(not all) homosexuals and minorties simply because they are stuck up. In my personal experiences, they want "equal treatment" but at the same time, they want "special treatment" because of what they believe in or whatever. I once worked with a gay man in my local grocery store. All he did was talk on his cell phone all day and pick at his nails. So when i got a raise for my hard work and he didnt(because he hardly worked at all he said that the workplace was "biased" because he was "gay". 1 week later, i found my self in court being accused of a "hate crime" for heck i dunno. Later, i was fired, yes fired from my job because of this incident and this man kept hist job....Some of them make it a point to say that they are either a gay or a minority no matter what the situation. Ill just walk down the street and hear a radomn person making an ass of themsleces and saying "im gay and im proud" and stuff like that. i dunno why though. Do they feel it that the whole world need to know this?

2nd personal experience: Another reason why i dislike most of them is because they feel that they can use their "special situation" to their advantage. I was applying for a job at some store after the 1st incident. During the job interview, there was some other guy being interviewed. I wont say what race he was but non-the-less, i was overhearing this guys interview. The lady asked him "What would make you better qualified for this job then say another person?'' so he replied "Well first of all, im a minority trying to make it in this crazy world"

3rd: At my high school, theres all kinds of programs and clubs that benefit gay and lesbians, and people of other ethnicities. So while im struggling to try and get straigt A's in school for scholorships and what not, there are special programs designed for these people to make it so that they only have to half-ass their way through school and they still get tons of money for it.....

well im tired, im pretty sure theres a lot of mistakes here as in i forgot a lot of the stuff that i was gonna say. Well anywho.....please dont flame or call me an idiot as it's only an opinion and thats what keeps it away from truth. Please feel free to share your own personal opinions on the subject (not me) and experiences

i know quite a few lesbians and one of my best friends is gay (i got a funny story about that but i got no time for it) and he gets no special treatment and hes not "stuck-up" at all. especially here in australia they dont get any special treatment because gay marrige hasent even been legalised yet but thats beside the point.

he doesn't act or behave any differently, he makes jokes about us liking chicks and we make jokes about him liking guys- so nobody has a problem with it. only now, its abit sus wen he eats a hotdog ;)

tbh, being gay doesn't make a person act any differently- some people are just narural dicks.

Well if you get fat you can say they gave the skinny gay dude your job... problem solved.

Anyway I'm a little confused, do we have to talk about most "homosexuals and minorities" or can we talk about a more specific minority? For example, "Most midgets are cute and cuddly and make me laugh."

im seriously against gay people.

here are a few reasons why.

im catholic, against my religion

lets see, they can treat you like shit, but if you say one damn thing, they say its a hate crime. happened on a cruise ship, i was 11 years old and accused one of the performers in a band of being a stuck up ass hole cause he didnt give my sister an autograph, so he replied " its cause im gay huh, you people are always out to get us aren't you" so i replied "yes, we are"

another one, is a kid is gay in my class, literally gay, like butt sex gay, he told me that he had buttsex last weekend, but he wasn't kidding, i told him to to shut the hell up and to never talk to me again, and the teacher marked me down...

i dont have really anything against gays as a whole, just certain individuals...

hell one guy was gay one time and he gave me a really good haircut.

its the same with any group of people, some are ass holes, some are nice... all depends.

Urrrm. At this point i would have probably been extremely blunt and insulted you to the ends of the earth, but since this is a seriouse discussion all i will say is that, in my experience is that all of the minorities and homosexuals that act in a very stereotyped way are idiots. But this rarley happens, I happen to know several gay people and minority people including myself (minority, I come from Italy and Sri Lanka) are really good people that don't act like twats to be bluntly put and work as hard as anyone. But personally i think it's fucked up to use your minority or sexuality to get a job, and i really dont like it.

I've always thought the same about minorities, especially racial minorities (haven't had any experience with gay people I'm thankful to say). They believe the world owes them something. If anything goes against them, then it's not their fault, it's a "hate crime". Racism is all one-way in this country if you ask me.

My brother got threatened to get shot out of school for calling someone a "paki", however, if he's called "white bastard" the staff tell the coloured kid to be quiet. This is because if my brother was expelled for racism against pakistanis, then the school would look good as it would seem they're cracking down on racism. On the other hand, if the pakistani kid was expelled, it would probably cause an uproar in the local muslim community, protesting that white kids are favoured instead of theirs. Another incident in my college was when two young kids (about 12 years old, one white and one pakistani) were fighting in the playground area. Obviously people are going to crowd and watch, but there was this one lad in Sixth Form who was 17-18 (a pakistani), who was encouraging the fight and saying to the young pakistani not to let the fucking white trash beat him, it would be a disgrace.

My brother asked the lad if he'd ever been beat by a white lad in a fight, he just laughed and said he wouldn't let it happen. What I wouldn't have given to smack fuck out of him there and then, but of course, I'd probably land myself with a small prison sentance or something for "hate crimes".

Another thing that pissed me off, was something that happened in summer 2004. A building in Boro town centre was flying a huge England flag in support of the England team in Euro 2004. However, due to complaints from people from other countries (mainly pakistan), they were forced to take the flag down. I mean, WTF!, this is England, why can't we fly our OWN country's flag??? Apparently the minorites found the flag offensive. Huh? Fuck off, I say. But noooo, the government can't be seen to be ignoring or dismissing the cries from racial minorities, that would look bad.

Don't get me wrong, I have plenty of pakistani friends, but it's the attitude from the majority I've seen that pisses me off about racial minorities. Anyway, that's my rant :tp:

Also, what pisses me off here in Australia is the aboriginals. They get payed to do nothing!. They sit around, robbing houses, cars everything! Then if someone picks a fight with them, the white person will get in trouble.
They call us: "white trash", "white magic", "stupid white sh1t" and whatever. But don't pick a fight with an aboriginal, or he will get his cousins, friends etc. And there are millions hiding out so be careful ;).

rofl dont get me started with the abbos tho. lol its funneh cos in my whole school, theres only 2 abo kids. yea, its a verry multicultural school ^^

I agree with Hydra on this one, i'm a brit and i had a fucking flag for Euro 2004 but saying that flying our own flag in our home country is rediculous.
But i also agree with exclamatio, it's up to the person to choose whether to act like a twat in the first place.

if this offends anyone too bad because it has to be said, as a species we the Huan race is an idiotic follower that can't make it's own decisions, but on our own we can have the greatest minds the world has ever seen. When we group together and start acting like any stereotype we gain a sheeplike mentality that makes us want what ever the group wants which in general is a bad idea, why do you think we killed off all the wolves in this country; they were killing and eating our sheep with ease (in case anyone doesn't know).

i think darko's opinion is mainly based on his personal experiences. I know personal experiences can greatly change or adjust one person's way of life and viewpoints but i also think that it would be best if you looked at the world from the outside of your bubble.

Gay people or homosexuals are just like us except with a different sexual preference. They are just like us normal people, i mean hell, they ARE one of us and therefore have their own set of characteristics. It just so happens that the homosexuals you've encountered have had a negative effect on you and im NOT saying that they're good people, im just saying that you can't make a generalisation about all gays just from your few experiences.

From what i can see, i think homosexuals are simply just like us. Only difference is, where straight men ogle at hot women they ogle at hot men. So What!? I mean, half the time, us men find girl on girl extremely hot and steamy.
I think homosexuals deserve their place in the world. It's not their fault they have this different same sex preference, it's simply their nature. Therefore, i respect them for who they are and don't believe they should be allowed any extra special treatment than being treated equally.

no im not anti-gay. I have some gay friends and they're really cool dudes, its the ones who fit the stereo type and make asses of themselves in public to get attention that im against.

Also, most guys say they are against gays, but pro-lesbian. I am neither because that would make me a hippocrit or something.

Moving on to racial/ethnical minorities in the states: Same thing happens here. If a black guy beats up a white guy, everyone praises the black guy for "resisting oppression" and "sticking it the man" and succeeding in life (i dont see how). But if a white guy beats up a black guy, hes marked to get beat up himself, made fun of, harasssed, looked down upon. Also, most of the people here are too lazy to find a freaking job and live on welfare. If a white man manages to succeed because of hard work, the other cultures just say "look at that white person trying to spread his opression, thats some racist shit not lettin a brotha get up in society. You know why most of them dont get up in society? They excpect to be treated to better thingby doing less. Respect to those who work through hardships and get economical success, but screw those who are there on the corner fucked up on some kind of drug begging for money because they're too lazy to go out and find a job

I got some experience in highschool on a local salon run by a gay she seems had 4 hands cause while cutting my hair shes stroking me in my back chest but she failed in its final target i caught his naughty hand .

Most gay ppl(not all but most) act like weirdos some kind of personality problem or maybe biological sickness or disease like those examples in the thread thay dont even act like gay ppl they just cant behave like normal or like normal gay ppl..unlike there lesbian cousin if not all.. most of them behave well and act like true lesbian in most straightforward manner they dont present themselves as an annoying special type unique weirdos.

as for the race thing well if your from x country and decided to go and live in y country you should become y not xy so there will be no more race thing no more white black yellow or red ppl just y ppl cause your Y ppl now mind and spirit. not the other way around

Wow, very interstin' thread. On the discussion of races, i have a lil story. Well, i used to really hate this gay kid (literaly gay), he just seemed to think the world owed him a favour, because on an incident which was really small, he shoved me against the door as we were leaving class. Now this was a big kid, bigger than me, but this push was really weak, so all my friends were like "u ok dude?", i was laughing it off. He got even more angry and punched me in the nose. So i calmly walked back into class, and told the story to my teacher (yes, im mature :eh:). He comes barging in shouting "Every1 is going to take his side just coz he's a negro!!!"

Stupid retard, got excluded for 6 days. On another note, I'm a half cast. I don't really dislike gays or lezbos, its just if they tell me that they're gay. I mean, u might not know if a guy is gay, and u could pretend to be gay as a joke, and they could take it seriously! (it's happened to me - NEVER DO THIS!!!!)

Ok heres the point of view from a christian, but i don't really follow my religion.

I think that gays and lesbians are usually not what they are steriotyped to be.. when people say gays are guys that talk like dumbasses, or are fairy little faggots.. thats not true, alot of gays are as down to earth as us..

On to minorities

Minorities will never take someones job, don't complain and be a little bitch because "mexicans work cheaper" or something stupid like that.. if a minority gets a job over you its not because your employer is afraid to get sued because he committed a hate crime, its usually because they are a better applicant then you, and seem much more loyal and dedicated. I live 15 miles from a mexican heritage town, and the people there are very discriminated against.. lets face it mexicans and other minorities will never get fair treatment.

P.S. No gay/lesbian/minority wants "special treatment"... i don't know where you pulled that out of your ass. And in real life mexicans and blacks and other minorities don't say "is it because im black" or "is it because im mexican"... and i live in a very racial diversed area, I would know.
