Win7 or Win Server 2008 for Localhost?

Hello :)

May sound like a stupid question, but which is better for running a localhost server Win7 or Win Server 2008 ?
Will only be myself and my bf connecting to it and it will be on it's own PC with a fresh install (bf and I will connect from our laptops)

I am assuming win server will best :)

(I have googgled and searched on here but couldn't find anything)

Any advice would be great
