How do you maintain your server?
I am using the 3.9 client, with the 3.9 one click setup.
A few things I wanted to ask about, first.. I notice that a lot of the monsters in the starting area(as far as I've been) just stand around. They don't walk around, just stand there- they still attack me and such. Is there something I can do to make them behave normally? I should I mention that some monsters will still walk around and act like they do in retail though.
Are there things I should be doing to make sure the server is in tip top shape? Things like routine maintenance, tune-ups, etc. anything at all I can do to make things run smoothly? If so, what steps can I take.
Lastly, how should I shut down the game server, chat server, login server? The way I've been doing this is by stopping the EMU, closing the ports and exiting out the logs. Should I be doing something else? Does this hurt anything?
I should note that right now I am only playing locally and have no plans of going online with it.

1 monster walk,you can walk to the Data found npc_walker add location.
2.Properly close your server, Ctrl + c (full protection personnel all offline)

ok thank you, so I only need to add zones into the npc_walker to make all the mobs walk around in that zone?
and ctrl +c from the server command prompt? is there anything wrong with the way I was doing it?
Also, should I regularly clean up my server? anything I can do to make sure it runs smoothly?

Can be found in the main configuration inside, regular cleaning is not online users

not sure what you mean here, I can find what I need to do to clean up the server in the main config folder? Regular cleaning is not just for online users?
Also, forgive me, but I've looked through the aion wiki thread, looked through all the threads here in the help section and could not find anything that I could use to answer my questions here.

so nobody can tell how the hell I clean my server? Can't even point me in the direction of a thread? There are tons of threads on how to setup up the damn thing but I can find NONE telling me how to KEEP it running smoothly.
