    If you can't find those tables on source code, then it means they don't exist. Some tables were just backups or old.

    We use MySQL.

    Editor database is useless. That was some kind of editor attempt using database but we never finished it.

    Sometimes i don't add maps on that list.

    That's just a reference list. Server map list is dynamic and you can add any maps you want when you want.

    Yes. It is Main.dll, but i don't remember if this time we used a different hook since something changed on main and it was difficult to simply hook.

    We do not unpack the main. We hook the dll on packed main.

    We don't have any tool for editing anything. We just have a simple script that decode / encode bmd files and lang file.

    Also we use MySQL, we just edit all data using navicat.

    If you use blob to store any data, you need to save everything each time you want to update database, even items / skills that has not been changed.
