when i did it on my home pc it did my lan ip not my local when i set it but all i did was change the key and config to my local ip and it still connect fine

You need to get the files out by using a VFS extractor. Then you replace the maps form the orig to the EVO simple.

can you see the site when u type in the IP on your router? if so you havent port forwred to your PC IP address e.g. 0.2 0.3 and so on
