agree, but you would have to know exactly what to put where (in paint) and its DEFFINATELY not recommended for noobs:/ so it would be a lot easier to edit exsisting ones, no?

uhh im wrong? don;t think so m8... even with the guides you gave here, its still how to EDIT an item.. you can't simply create your own, you woudl still have to edit or change the exsisting ones.....

this is very easy to fox simply by having the configuration right. check if you're ports are open, if you have put in the right IP, if the // things are taken off, check for any errors on the 3 black...
as far as i know, you can't make custom items, you can only manipulate exsisting ones.. every item and monster is made of sprites.. edit them in photoshop or whatever, and you can create a new thing....

Update your server files... i had the same problem.. installed the update and its fixed.. you probably use the one given in the link of the guide by F.O.X. that one is outdated... go to the eAthena...

This doesnt really make much sense, because if the computer has 1 IP, and then the owner gives it out to check that moment, theres no chance in hell that it will chance in those couple of minutes......
do you have more webservers on that computer? and try to make outsiders visit your web by going to http://yourIP:port ie: http:// 111.11.111.1:80
can you see the page when you go to http://127.0.0.1/ ? if not, then there's something not installed correctly.

got the same problem with the skills.. i buy 1 skill and get something completely different..

your server is probably fine. as long as you configure every thing perfect, you wont have any problems with it. to play on the same pc as the server is running, the only thing you have to do, is open...

the gameguard patch is NOT nessesary. i dont use it, and it works perfect for me. so you dont need it if you dont get anny problems playing it the normal way

if you want to use no-ip feature's, like http://whatever.no-ip.com, its just to hide your IP. cuz what normally is 12.34.56.789 would be http://whatever.no-ip.com

sounds like the ports are not forwarded. or like i wrote above here, check all the settings in the conf files. every single thing has to be correct, since the serverfiles are not gonna guess it for...
check your login, char and world conf file. you probably havent put in the right pass. when the pass isnt right, it can't connect. so that's most likely the case here. good luck

you can save the server manually by doing so in the acctual server files (the program that runs the server)
if you save the server manually (not save tru admin command), while you're not connected, does it still delete everything?
guides are a standard thing.. not every person or admin has the same router so you might wanna ask some things before telling Alex to blindly go and look for guides... i dont think you would like to...
when you logout of what exactly? you account, or when you shut down the server?
