You could try and compete by trying to set up an environment that doesnt relate to standard Blizzard gameplay. This will make it more interdasting for your goal-group to join it. gl hf :)

Try to open a DMZ to the correct LAN ip, and then retry connecting. If this works, you messed up your forwards.
Also, what ip are you using in your realmlist.wtf? You may play around with that entry...
