I think the colours are good choices.
Only the white is a little too much on top, and the shading should carry throughout the piece to give it that depth - i feel it's lacking some here, sorry....

It definitely need some shading, just recolour the existing shading from the swf image.
Also make sure you're using the same colours throughout, consistency is key.

I agree. They needed to put some serious shading into this. The colours look really blocky! It just ruins what they were trying to achieve.

Again I wonder the stacking capabilities of this furni....

I think you need to work on your colours. The ones you've chosen clash A LOT. But that could be just because you're male :P No sexism but men are usually crap at colour co-ordination :P
