U mean I can edit item.dat so that the old client can connect to these tex files without crash?

Notice: I HAVENT edit the client...

new client remove GG , but also use new method to pack .tex files.
it use AES to encrypt data,though U know how to unpack .XFS file , U dont have the key.

As U know, the client is too old , so the weapons in the game are not enoughto play.
I try to edit the Texture data but the result is not so good (though it really works).
