If his problem is the GPS, indeed 1023 gives everything. But without hex-editing the cabalmain.exe then that is probably why he cannot see maps after undead grounds, if that is what he's implying :o

2) Download and install the v22 OGP Client.

Just follow the steps as Yamachi has mentioned :]

Use the OGP Beta client (v22), copy the files in /Data/ from EU (but don't copy ANY of the ENC's, .DAT's, or .DTS's), get Saur0n's cabalmain.exe and then download the patch pack that destru posted....

Did you use the Data folder (except ENCs) provided in the latest Cabal EU?
