Actually i had the same problem with MachineManager but the problem was in the server.cfg port. so you have to check the ports in cert/server.cfg if everything is fine. then use another one

I tried to make max chars per 1 account 8 and actually it works fine. but in the login screen the mark which should move me to the second screens so i can see the rest 4characters...

Did you put your agentserver in DEP? If yes then check your server.cfg/cert files.
