Awesome to see you're still updating this software. It's just sad we need extra software to run the client - unlike how it used to be, just your daily browser. Perhaps one day there will be some...
Yes pel, I do expect that from you.
wget -rknHp -X "Dont_go_here" -R "index.html*" https://archive.alcosmos.net/Alcosmos/Habbo_DCRs/
Here ya go.
I thought a new development thread was posted. Little did I know this was just a giant bump. GG.
Thank you for your effort non the less!
I'm glad to see some .NET development back in the community. I think it's an awesome language that got plagued by bad code in this section. Judging by your command snippet, I think it's a good step...
I was just thinking about this and saw this thread. Sadly not that many posts.
As of the now the beta client will most likely be for people that understand the unity client. I don't expect a...
Without the beta there's no Habbo. Something to do with Flash u know :p
It's funny because it's the Beta or no Habbo at all...
I have a feeling it could be a lot faster, but for some reason it hangs on doing requests (from what I can see).. Like it's waiting for x set of requests to be completed before proceeding.
Not sure about the load time everyone's complaining about. For me it loaded in like 20-30s.
It would have been more pleasing if they kept the pixelated style, instead of the slik smooth ass style....
I got the tip to hit alt + 1 to "fix" the large font size. It was a lot better, but it's still crap.
It's a massive disappointment.
First of thanks for the release. People seem sceptical about it, and I can't blame them. You made a few posts defending your release, which is fine. Some things do however not add up quite right.

Do you have some sort of URL that directly links to the claim? Maybe even add an image (screenshot) with it :P
So it's ben a few months. Thought they wanted to launch the update around summer?
I hope this contains something you're searching for: https://alex-dev.org/archive/Habbo%20Monster%20Archive%20%21%20-%20by%20Wendigo/Jabbo/
I find it strange to believe EF Core is buggy. And when you said you can't make the async methods to work, I think it's a problem on your side of the code. Like I said before, async all the way. You...
leenster can you answer this question?
Congrats everyone on creating another "community vs TheGeneral" discussion.
Spring Boot allows you to add starters, which basicly means each starter you add can auto configure itself. The Spring Boot starter for Web (spring-boot-starter-web) uses Tomcat by default.
The sandbox is their test environment for possible upcoming features. The photos page suggest they're actively using it to test something. One can reason that it's the new client they're making....
Technically not. Spring originates as an alternative from the strange ass enterprise apis Java has. Those apis require fair bit of boilerplate code to get it working. Spring wanted developers to...
I think the main reason the client runs on 24fps is because of the animations. It uses the fps to determine the next frame. Increasing the fps would cause furnitures to increase their animation speed...
Nice to see new developments poping up. We're are more interested about the stuff you've done so far. The post is quite plain and doesn't give much information about your project; other than the...
