I made it for a friend, which plays... WOW

FYI I'm completely new to Photoshop, started using it a few days ago...
and also, i have it in french, so i can't do the tuts cuz they are in english :x
Can't manage to change the language... :s (yes u can call me a noob on that point ><)
PS: for the 2nd one, colors suck i know... don't know why i chose red

1st: New border, try to make render blend nicely with background next time.
2nd: As you said, color doesn't match should've took green instead of red, text.

Since you're totally new to PS I'll give you 4/10 overall. Good for first work.

Decent work for a starter. Learn to blend the render. Tutorials can keep you going good. Always bother to read some. You'd know your way around photoshop.

for first sigs theyre good, i remember my first sigs made in paint XD, but try to match the background colors with the renders colors, also dont forget to make a better border, like (1px black border out)(1px white border in with aplha ajust and overlay) that worked for me when i was newest to this [i still do it, look at my sign]

try to make more visible backgrounds, not so plain ones, and please dont
use bevel and emboss as the border, that sucks
fonts: dont use over-used fonts, some time ago someone said me that
and i thank him a lot for it. (fonts such as el&fontgothic were used so much
that now its boring to look at them)
but something i liked very much in the last one is the glow in front of the
render's nose, thats very stylish and i wouldn't be able to do smth like that

meh...if I can play a game in another language that I don't know... don't let it stop you from trying.

Your sigs are okay, but you could really use some photoshop skill. Maybe looking for tutorials in french might be a good idea. Interesting enough your sigs aren't bad enough to be called noobish (or ****) yet they aren't good enough to be called pro. For the most part they're not an eye strain and have minimal, if anything, errors to fix up.

Don't forget not everyone will like the style you choose. If you're afraid of other peoples' opinions then don't even bother.

(I'm trying a new way to critique peoples' sigs, remember my thoughts are opinionated, you take what you think is important to your understanding)

1st sig
-Good choice for the background
-The text is a little hard to read, but it's revisable (text is the hardest part in a sig)
-The rest of it's a bit lame (render doesn't work so well with the colors, symbols and weapon in the background are a bit odd, and the rouge icon looks very out of place)

2nd sig

-I actually like the color balance in this one (a little off, but it's not terrible)
-Too many renders in this; usually you want to focus on one specific thing. I see what you were trying to do with the triforce (duplicated the layer and moved it around), yet you should try more layer blends.
-Text needs a border and a color change (or a color blend).

ok thanks for the advice, but i picked it because... i liked it (duh) and because my internet conexion suckes, and therefore i can't look on all pages and have to pick a font quickly before i'm out of patience

I'm that kind of guy, but a game is different from photoshop, especially when ur reading tuts... "take the render blend it blah blah blah" I was like wth does it mean?? but i got the basics now, but it's still hard.

Haven't found many french tuts about siggys... and if I did they were basic ones (and the hard ones... i supose i haden't the adequate level for them xD)

i have something new in mind (just got back from Media Markt and saw tons of games thats why ^^)

ah, likewise chatfeu. I'll pm you some details to keep the thread on topic (about render blending). I didn't know french tutorials were hard to find! In any case good luck with any more signatures you have in the future, I'll be glad to use the template I use to rate them!
