Tupac Amaru Shakur, 1971-1996, rest in peace

Tupac was a great man, actor, poet, rapper and soldier. He was taken away from us way too early, at the young age of 25. But still, he left a large legacy behind him, which continues to influence the world to this day.

Ever since he died on September 13th 1996, two films, in which he starred in, have been released; six albums containing previously unreleased material have been released; his poetry have been released, in both the shape of a book and an audio CD; books have been written and documentaries have been produced about him. And still, there's so much more to come.

They say that you're not dead until you're forgotten. If that's the case, Tupac is still alive. His music is still alive. His poetry is still alive. His songs and videos are played on a daily basis on radio and television worldwide. What he accomplished in life will live on - until the end of time.

But what films was he in?

no famous ones, except gridlock, he's the black cop, was a really good actor died just as he started growing in the film industry

never liked the guys work or music especially much (dont get me wrong i dont dislike it either) but i dont believe really in hanging on a persons death like this as people die everyday, good people and they never get recognition. but there are a few people (and i do mean a few) that deserve recognition for what theyve done, like bruce lee was to martial arts 2pac was to his field, arguably the greatest.
