Seems good. I was on the Yahoo homepage, Said something about it breaking record sales - and it's in the top 10.

I flick through the top 10, to find it not being there. 1 Was Super Mario bros for the NES btw.

I haven't got Halo 3 yet, Any good?

Re: Halo 3

There tons of threads about halo 3 in the Games Section. But to answer you: yes it is an awesome game. I've been enjoying every second of it (well cept one round where my friend forced me to play shotty snipers which i hate.)

Re: Halo 3

If this is in the wrong section, Move tis plesh

Re: Halo 3

I haven't personally played it, but I have read several blogs saying it was just Halo 2 with a few new weapons, and improved graphics. So for the time being I am thinking of holding off until the first price drop...

Re: Halo 3

CoD4 is gonna own it hard (multiplayer definetly owns it), but Halo 3 is fun with a few friends in co-op.

Re: Halo 3

Unreal Tournament 3 > All

Re: Halo 3

pssh
Pecking Order for FPS on the 360...
Project Offset > Huxley (MMOFPS FTW) > Unreal Tournament 3 > CoD4 > Halo3

I don't think that's true - as far as I can tell (and I have both halo 2 and halo 3) the only level which has been redone is Zanzibar, which has become "Last Resort" - which is literally an exact copy, but greatly improved. I suppose there are some levels where you can sort of see a slight resemblence to some Halo 2 ones, but I wouldn't call them "Halo 2 maps re-done".

With regards to the game itself, personally I think that it's fantastic - I haven't had chance to play it that much yet, but my first impressions are great (although at the moment I'm often losing due to having no earthly idea where any decent weapons are =p). I think that the graphics are a lot better, and I think that the weapons are a lot more balanced (especially things like the sword), and I personally think that the Assault Rifle start is much, much better than the SMG start (although not as good as battle rifle start would be =p). I'm sure that eventually bungie will release more map packs - I hope that they remake lockout (that would be a dream come true for most player, including me). I also like the new equipment - things such as bubble shield, power drain, regeneration and so on. I think it adds a new dimension to the game, without making it so overpowered that you are almost invincible if you get some of the equipment. The saved films feature is also pretty good, although it can be a bit awkward to get used to - it's going to be fantastic for montage makers, and is going to be a great tool for showing off =p (I haven't really played around with it that much yet, but from what I see it is pretty good). Although I haven't actually tried it yet (hopefully I will at some point today) I think that co-operative single player will be fantastic, and I think the idea of campaign scoring is ingenious (especially with skulls etc) and I'm sure that it will be great.

Anyway, if you've got Halo 3 and fancy a game, add my gamertag - "x Numinator x" (with the spaces between the x and the N and the r and the x).

/Miles

Halo 3 broke the record for 1 day sale (10 million copies). It is years away from breaking the record of the top 10 best selling games.

Ehm... i don't think so, there are roughly 13-14 million Xbox 360's around, so it definetly didn't sell 10 million.
