Anyone else been keeping their eyes on this game? I have ever since i saw the first trailer of baldur in the bar i've had it on my wish-list

Then they released the demo during E3 and im quite impressed looks like its gonna be a huge time hog though with all the loots and such.

anyone else thinking of getting it? if you are post here and we'll see if we cant work out a co-op game

it's being released on the 19th of next month

It seems like a cheap version of Mass Effect. The graphics arent that great (in the demo). But the final version maybe different. The story doesn't seem very interesting. Machines... blah blah. Then they add all this fantasy stuff in sci-fi rpg, didn't seem right. It's definitely worth a try but not my cup.

well i've just spent the last two days farming on phantasy star universe so i think the graphics are awesome, plus i enjoy norse mythology. but im mainly in it for the aforementioned item collecting and levelling.

i also like the idea that you'll use the same game save for all 3 of the games in this trilogoy and the way it carries over your levels (and supposedly items) to the next game in the series when they release it.

You can't compare this to Mass Effect, the gameplay is completely different.
What i saw from the story sounds interesting, it definitely looks good.

I would get it, but i got other things i need to spend money on, so not sure when i will get it, not anytime soon.

Infact the only game i will buy in a while is Star Wars the Force Unleashed, i just can't wait for that.

Yeah... I mean its definitely worth a try. But I probably wont be buying it, maybe getting it off another friend. What I do wanna buy for 360 this year, is Gears of War 2 and Force Unleashed (the ragdoll physics have come a long way).

It just didnt..feel right?? I didnt like the way the sword worked, I guess you can say the controls are messed up and you can get overwhelm so fast too when enemies attack you all at once. I'll probably rent it, I know thats the first time in a long time I've said I would rent a game.

I like the sword controls, after a while it just felt natural.

Some of the people from mass effect were in the making of this game, and u can see the similarities, but it more reminds me of Diablo 2. Thats why I'm probably going to get this game.
