[360]Voiding Warranty/Modding Controller/Painting Xbox 360

No one is answering me on xbox.com so im just going to ask the nice people of rage zone

If i paint my xbox 360 would it void my warranty?

Any good modding controller tut's that Are cheap

Any good ideas for a design for the controller and xbox (Game Theme Intended)


So will this void my warranty or not?
If I only paint it Not opening the case

Can't you read the T&C's of the book that (I assume) comes with the console.

I would assume painting your Xbox 360 would void your warranty

If you open, modify, or strip the warranty seal off of the Xbox 360 console, you will void the warranty.

If you want to know for sure, give them a ring.

I asked but they said the only thing that would void it is taking the Lights off the face plate
And adding differnt L.E.D.S

So i guess im fine then

1) What's the point, you should be looking at the television, not your xbox.

on a side note: i sent my broken modded xbox360 in and they repaired it.
There attention to diligence amazes me.

You won't void the warranty unless you mod the Xbox. Microsoft couldn't careless about you painting rainbows on it. And you don't have to bring in the modded controller when you return it if it gets the RRoD so your good.
