Yesterday, I felt like I needed a home gym for my family to exercise. Now, I'm planning on creating a home gym in our old workshop and my dad's old office will be transfered into a storage room. I am probably going to take down shelves and the big workshop table so, there will be enough room for a gym. The gym is about
width: 7''3' and the length: 9"

not bad for like a mini gym.
So far, I am purchasing gym floors Modell's - SuperMats Interlocking Flooring System-- Great for your Gym at Home!
and a weight rack with a couple of weights from 1 pound to like 5 pounds for a start.

what I am basically saying is that, do you have any ideas of what I should add
example:
weight balls etc etc

and yes, I'm putting a tv and a homestero with maybe a water thingy.

thought you left?

WTF does that have to do with this thread? If you can't post constructively why post at all. People can return to the forum and should be allowed to without posts like this.

On topic.

I guess one of them benches with multiple things on it would be good. Then get one of the poles with changeable weights would be good. You can get them with hang ones as well which would probably be better than getting the one permanent ones.

Re: [GYM] My home gym

this is something i have planned for when i own my own house

as i am currently renting i cannot make any changes like this but when i do own property i will definately have a workout room, even more than 1 depending upon the size of my house

Re: [GYM] My home gym

I was thinking of getting 2 kinds of weight balls and maybe a bike.. yes and the benches would be good. Also thinking about getting a bike or something...

I never really saw the point of bikes and tread mills. Surely you can do both of them outside? Weights however aren't thinks you can do normally so need a proper space.

Guess they would be good in winter if you have snow etc...

Re: [GYM] My home gym

a machine that you can do a few different exercises on. Since the gym isn't that huge it'd be good to have one machine where you can enhance all your muscles. The bike is a good idea too, although I'd rather take a real bike and ride it around. Fresh and exercise are better.

I was thinking of a machine that can do different things... yeah, I'll probably get it. I thought so too not needing a bike for indoors...
anyways, I 'm going to go pick up some stuff from the sporting goods store for the gym..

Re: [GYM] My home gym

Stick to the topic.
Anyways I didn't purchase the mats but I found them cheaper and much better quality. (It had more mats to it). I am ordering it and than going to purchase weights and a weight rack.
