nah, thats so untrue. Rugby is deemed to be a "gentleman's" sport. i mean, they don't need to wear protective clothing do they? football, on the other hand, it more violent, and has bod pile-ups. rugby has only tackles. and the balls are slightly different.

You get the same type of hits in both sports but you've also got people standing on you and all sorts in rugby.
