I don't know if this topic goes best here because I'm mainly trying to host a gunz server. So, what I need help on is that whenever I try to host a game my friends can't join the server. I set all the IPs to my IP which I just realize was a main router IP for every router computer. So, how do I get my own custom IP that links to my computer but isn't a dynamic IP? Or if I already have one, how do I know what it is? So, is anyone up to help me or just stand there reading and wondering why I ever posted this and didn't use the search function?

Run > CMD > type: ipconfig
Leave this box open for reference.

Open your router config. If you have a Linksys router, type in your default gateway into your web browser to bring up the config page. Go to the port forwarding section and forward every port that your Gunz server uses to your computer's IP address (the one displayed in CMD). For more info go to:

The IP other people will use to connect to your server will show up on

And be aware that according the Republicofastra, you're pretty much screwed if you're using a router. I believe you're going to need to use .

Off-Topic: 711th post, lol.
