How can I simply view the 3d files in a program like 3DS MAX, Maya or Blender? For viewing only. Do I need a plugin, if so which one?

it was nice to see that someone is having an interest with these models. If you can make a tutorial on how to extract these models easyly and fast it might be something that can start a development and possible to make this game alive again.

Yeah I highly doubt that. some people already did such thing but no success, "if you doing that much work anyway why not just create a new game"
