# ACE_ASSERT: file Worldmayor.cpp, line 371 assertion failed for '0'.Aborting...

It is caused by editing config files in windows using a text editor that does not support unix format line endings as i mentioned on that other topic. If reinstalling cabal doesn't fix it then either your original files are in the wrong format or you are editing after the reinstall. Use a text editor that supports unix format files or run the dos2unix command over each of the files to convert then to the right format.

Maybe there's something wrong with my winscp. well thanks for the good advice, i will edit the server files not in windows anymore using winscp coz i can transfer files from centos to windows (vice-versa) using file sharing.
Thanks again Chumpywumpy!
