GuNZ private servers are extremely hackable, currently me and my team is making a anticrash, yet they still have major hacks, such as admin consoler, which we disabled most commands, but still, less commands for GM's the less commands to control the game.

- Name hack, they mask there ingame names, and they massively crash games
- Massive, lawnmower, and so much more....

ya... and without CRC checker we can edit some files........

My friend Lambda made his own Anti-Hack system.

It works perfectly.

It detects Gunz.exe modifications, also at system.mrs, memory edition, etc...

And the checks are server side.

And the checks are server side.

That's what I'll be attempting to do so something will hold over MatchServer while I work on the emulator.

It's true dude, I've spoken to Lambda on MSN about it.

And emisand, was it written in VB or something? It just seems very VB-ish to me. If so, I think I'll try that then. I was gonna do it in C++, but I don't know a whole lot yet, I'm still studying.

Republic are you serious about making an emulator? Were not to far with NOX yet its coded in C#, were at character selection screen with the kgunz client atm.

Yes, I'm 100% serious about emulator. I've been studying packets and C++ like Ducking crazy over these last 2 weeks.

you need to decrypt GunZ packets..

i think about the GunZ packets have the same encryption of mrs files

I know I need to decrypt the packets. Read my post again, I said I've been studying packets (how they work, etc.). I'm kinda new to this, so I need to study a lot.

Couldnt you just bypass the anti-hack check ?
remove it from the client if so i would recommend only to allow people to connect to the gunz server that at least connected to the anti-hack server while playing and make sure the anti-hack protocol is encrypted good

the antihack dont allow to conect if the client is not verified as valid client, if you connect to port 6000 you cannot connect if your IP is not allowed to access.

This system protect to use modifieds clients.

im now working in GunZProtect hard, coding a DLL to add new antihacking functions
