Hey guys does anyone have an extractor for akramrose ? i want to mod abit but i cant extract the files by my self

Its a 'new' irose server, but if you ask me its just 7hearts under another name.
They have the same staff and the 7hearts server is dead.

lol, akram is open to beta users only, so if u download there client (which is released)

u just need the vfs editor, if u cant figure it out with all the tut on the akram forums u shouldnt be posting for help here, ull just get laughed at.

Oh give us a break.
Calder and his team have been working on the stuff for Akram for a long time.
I'm kind of glad that you can't rip their stuff easily. It's rather bad form to steal stuff from another pserver anyway.

It isn't quite 7Hearts. Similar, I'll grant you but a lot of new and unique stuff has been developed for this server.
I haven't actually downloaded their client yet but I have been following the project fairly closely for quite a while now.

Purple Not to disrespect calder at all i like the guy but in my opinion it seems to be 7h nerfed and EVo skills /quest added and that's about the extant of it. Nothing real special i seen inside there client,
Read all the updates and that's about all i see personally. But hey more power to calder and i wish him the best of luck.

as calder has said theres no point in encrypting the vfs files
since there will always be douchebags who would try
and reverse engineer it and release the tool then think they are god.
Calder's going to release his own vfs extractor for the akram files anyways.
i would suggest using it for educational purposes ;]

As i understand it they have a lot of items that have been edited.
For example the first soldier armor comes in about 7 different colors. 1 for the base and 1 for each of the 'blue' versions.
I know there are plans to extend this to pretty much all the sets.
This is a really easy thing to do though. If anybody has a little bit of skill with photoshop they can change colors of items. Editing the ZSC is also pretty easy so there isn't anything earth shatteringly new there.
Still a lot of work though.

Calder also claims to have customized quests going on but I don't know how much they've been messed with.
I never really played on 7H so i can't really comment on the game content.

Strangely I've been doing almost the same thing myself for KTRose so I was quite surprised when Found that Akram was going in the same direction as me.

yea no offense but recolored lvl 10 armor in my opinion is quite well useless. There was aready a blue set for most armors anyways. This was just giving a recolor So now its Rainbow Bright online.
Also i see there skills i personally don't think they are all that great just using in game effects to so skills with a custom name. But then what makes a cool skill the atk? Or the effect? I think the effect then then the atk Yes they wont use it if the Atk sucks but the effects what draws them. And Quest well all i seen was some 7h ones and Some of the newer jrose quest. like i said before not here to dis Akram just can't see the big wow over it. If they get to building it like Aram wowrose online mite be good. But just a wow version of rose.

P.S and Calder if you read this not trying to dis on you guys at all. But to me just seems you guys are taking the game backwards a few notches, Instead of moving forward.

But hey people seem to be drawn to it...
I believe in giving the player new exciting things instead of the same old same. But that's where we differ i guess. They do what they do and we do this......

This is what i think is adding stuff for the players. Wadii did a great job on it.

tbh armors are a b***** to make due to bones and animation.
but those dont suit rose style, they look like something out of guild wars.
good job on them but wow.

i think things like custom npcs/custom quests and so on make rose servers good, unique spawns and drops it makes it interesting and makes me want to play, what akram is doing is rly interesting, not only the recolored armors, but the skills there doing.

i can understand where ur coming from icon and things like new armors and weapons would really set a server out from others but.. its the little things that count.

it doesnt matter how long it takes to create things, if its crap its crap no matter how much time you spent making it.
i agree with default on most of what he says but what ICON is doing is fine but you may consider to change the texture or vectorize it (maybe) so it'll be more rose-like.

there are things akram are doing which i think is stupid, the quests, spawns, drops and skills are awesome but changing the level cap to something lower and making skills have longer delay times is stupid. Akram is already thinking to raise the level cap now, but in future if they did (since they set all the mobs etc levels down) then they will either have to raise them or make new mobs.

I guess If i add a new skill from jrose i just do it. If i make custom skills i just do it. I see where everyone is coming from to an extent. I'm just not blown away with it Armor recolors its lvl 10 noob gear. Quest Are Jrose. Drops and spawns been there done that with the re sized mobs we did that a long time ago.

Every one has a Opinion tbh, A lot of devs and what not don't like what we do! A majority of the players like it tho. Say its not rose like! whats rose like once you go custom. Look at Jrose that's not Rose like space age flaming Gay male clothes. I mean rose to me is what you make it. Yes we all start with a rose server to start at. Where do you take it from there? How do you make your server better than the rest? Once its yours and you have the know how to code files and such what do you give the player? Me try to give a Unique game maximizing the limits of my ability's. I try not to follow the rest cause to me its just the same old rose we been playing for years.
