It appears that everything's running, I don't understand what's wrong though. Btw, I'm trying to setup the server using hamachi.

Check centos can ping windows.

If you use mssql2005 express go into control panel->admin tools->services and make sure the mssql server entry doesn't have \express in it. If it does you have installed as a "named instance" which is wrong and you will need to reinstall. Check my sig for my pdf guide on installing mssql 2005.

Also if you use express load the surface area config tool from the start menu and make sure remote connections are enabled as they are not by defaul in express editions.

Oops, I did the linked server incorrectly. I didn't set the Provider to "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers". Time to test it out.

EDIT:

I can login to my account now, but when creating a character this pops up in the bottom left, "Cannot proceed with the command due to unknown DB errors. Please try again." I checked the LoginSvr log and it said this:
