Adobe PhotoShop
Vfs editor or NextGen
Zms Viewer

invidia DDS Plugin for Photo Shop

I will explain simple retexturing.
First to get the dds Files Place vfs editor in your main rose folder and run it. Don't click anything and go to file extract all select folder and hit ok. I suggest putting it into a folder on desktop.
This will take abot 10 min to complete, you also mite see a error that say failed to open don't worry let it run. when complete close vfs editor. Step one complete
Step two navigate to the folder you made and go to 3ddata folder and go to avatar for armors and weapons for weapons and Pat for carts and CG brows these folders to fined a item you wanna mod right click the dds file and open in photoshop now you can change the color or what ever you want for the item. when done save as .dds box will open click save. Done
Open your client 3ddata folder if there's not one make one and make a folder map just the same as the ripped 3ddata folder example 3ddata/avatar/body this would be the body file paste it in that folder. remember it has to retain the original name that u originally modded. Not sure if this works for Evo/Osrose files But should on Osirose files and Does for true Irose files. to get your players to see this item they also need to have the file set up just the way you do.
I know this tut Sucks ass well I'm better at just doing and not writing tuts but I'm trying to help. so I hope this helps people get a feel of how to do this. Soon i will be releasing a launcher Patcher that will patch all files on players side to the 3ddata folder.
