The best version of the database is from the SVN. I can't say that enough on these forums. If you get something from someone who has edited it for their own needs you are adding room for errors for each person that it passed hands through.
Get the database from the SVN (I think they are up to version 50 now?) and go from there. There is a whole team of people working on those files, so you are better off with them.
Lastly, this is an emulator project, and as with all emu projects, there is always going to be errors. Anyone that claims their server is error-free is lying to you. Even the official server has errors.
