How do I do this, I've searched and searched but I'm not having any success at all, any help would be greatly appreciated, you know?

how do you mean add to a npc do mean you can buy it that he wear it..?

if you want him to sell it lock a custom vendor

an do this command
.npc vendoradditem ( ID of weapon )

and if you want him to wear it you must look in your Database i think..
