[ascent] Help problems!

Need Help please

I have a couple of problems.

Those server files do i put all the server files i downloaded into the original WoW directory?
after i edited all the files do i click.. open acent,login server and voicechat?

I do that and open the WoW comes to login screen sais "authicating"
then comes up sayen error a program might be corupt or interfiering.

Am i ment to get a patch or something... and do i use the main wow client the one that u download when you download the actual games because ive put all my files in that directory??

Oh and i am running wireless not from the router so.... any help would be great.

First of all,no need to put ur server files in WoW Folder,u can make new folder called Ascent Server and put all ur server files there.
Use newest ascent revision,world and character database.
Ur WoW client must be same patch as ur server.
There is way to allow lower patches to acess ur server.
Set this in ur ascent logon config
<Client MinBuild = "6000"
MaxBuild = "99999">

hah, I wasnt online, or i would have probly replied, but its understandable to not reply. Im sorry, but when people ask a question like that, there server is usually bound to fail, so its no point in helping something that is already screwed... But then again, i dont know how old you are, or how long you have been working with computers, so you could be a quick learner, or have plunty of time to learn. Just saying thats how most people think..
