Hello! Thank you for taking a look and thank for in advance for any help you might have to offer.
First off I am using Ascent 4056, net framework 3.5, most if not all updates, my OS is Windows XP Media Center SP2

My problem is this, when I run my logon server and world everything seems fine, there are no errors or anything. So I turn WoW on, enter my Ascent account info, get past the connecting screen but I get stuck on the authentication screen, it won't move past this point. When I have my friend try to log on my server he can connect and get past all the screens but the realmlist to choose from is empty. Does anyone have any thoughts or known solutions? Thanks!

Are you connecting from same pc or from an other pc in network?
Are u ussing an ip or an no-ip add or somthing?

However either way here we go:

Open up /windows/system32/drivers/etc/host file with note pad and add the following line to it:

From same machine

127.0.0.1 serverip // make shure you use here what you use in the realmserver

from other machine in network

192.168.x.x serverip // make shure you use here what you use in the realmserver
// even if that means both ip's are the same.

This will work for evry wowemu by the way. This did it for me and worked realy fine. If this is not working then somthing else is wrong in your conf files.

Set your realmlist to the serverip/no-ip addres

I think this is my problem! The only thing is when I open the hosts file, and edit it, I click save and it says the file path is incorrect, so when it asks me to correct it, then it won't let me save over the file it says that is it right protected. Any thoughts?

Sorry, tr4shm4n, I missed your first question.
I am trying to log on with the PC I am hosting from,
and for the IP am using my Dynamic DNS server, mchs.dynalias.com
