ok guys, im working this, and im hoping this thread will go for a while, this will have many many questions in it, this isnt a job offer -- this is about the DB im working on for my own personal server, and also for anyone who wants to check it out.

First off -- There are a few things that need doing, that i dont know quite how to do, but intend to find out:

1) set up world boss scripts to be very unique and difficult,

2) level cap 140 (pending the new expansion it will be 160)
- need a way to add stats after 70, (.eg a consumable item that adds permanent stats that you get each level after 70, ((untill i can figure out how to code it in))

3)New ranks of skills, and new player skills for the levels after 70
- im dabbling, but not really getting anywhere

4)5 level tier based epic sets for all classes(including custom set bonuses? or just interesting class-specific on equip bonuses)

new Rare loot, recipies(dont know how to make new recipies for tradeskills)

5)modifying dungeons -- making all the dungeons set up so that theres the normal entrance, then find a cave nearby not tied to a quest to put the second instance that is the 70+ version -- all including stockades, deadmines -- everything ((deadmines being level 80 instance)) -- Karazhan -- new events(not sure what i want to do with kara, may leave it a 70 instance, for gearing for the alternate 70+ instances)

6)increasing profession limit to 3

**Note: iF this thread becomes popular enough ill set up a forum for it specifically, but for now, this is my q&a thread -- and well also will probably be a resource thread for anyone who wants to learn ascent, and db editing lol :D **

lol sorry about the DP but, this is the first question:

1: how do i make an item add stats to the character permanently?
(this is going to be my solution to stats over 70 for the time being)

I advise you learn the db basics and try some things, then learn the core basics and then try some things before starting a enormously large project.
