ASP Problems L2O

Having problems with the ASP, i followed all the instructions (From hicks chronicle server) up to the point where I am supposed to register a new account, when I run the ASP i get the following error:
ODBC driver does not support the requested properties
(Thats always on the rc.open lines)

Any Ideas? even whats cuasing the problem? SQL/ODBC/IIS cause i dont know

sql driver is not installed or broken (probably) and odbc surely not set up properly

The ODBC was setup according to hicks guide, it worked just like he said and i clicked the options it asked for...

misspelled... sql driver is not installed or broken
Check your mssql installation.
btw is server working ok? on the same box?

yeah it was mssql, i had 2005 beta, but i installed 2000 then it worked fine!
